Danko Animal Clinic Online

Web Princess (me)
Welcome!

My name is Sadey.
My Grandma is
Dr. Danko.

Have a look
around our site,
and
don't forget
to take the tour!

♥

This is my new puppy,
← Rory.
Grandma gave him to me
for my 8th birthday.
He is a
red and white
Pembroke Welsh Corgi.
His name means
"Red King."

My assistant (Rory)

Sadey's Joke Corner:

What is smarter than a talking cat?

 . . . . a Spelling Bee!

          Patient Spotlight:

Meet Frank

Frank is one of our favorite patients.

He is very smart.

Here are some Ferret Facts:

1. Ferrets are born deaf and don't hear anything for a month.

2. They are born white, then turn different colors by the age of three weeks.

3.  Baby ferrets are called "kits" and are so tiny, a first grader can fit a baby in the palm of her hand.

(I know because I was in first grade when Frank was born.)

Ask The Vet . . . .

What is the most unusual pet Dr. Danko has ever treated?

asked by Lexa Pilot
(me: she's in my class!)

Dr. Danko replies:

A potbellied pig with a tummyache.
They are very smart and affectionate
pets, but they grow way too big for most homes.

   *Name our new kittens*

Rev. Hines found these kittens

beneath the back steps of the church.

E-mail us your name suggestions!

Whether your name wins or not,

              come adopt one--or more!

(Grandma made me add that last part)

ANNIE AND THE WILD ANIMALS
by Jan Brett
This book is fun to read and has great pictures of Annie and her cat, who gets lost.
You will enjoy the story and pictures.
Read it!

(me: I made up that poem)

Please welcome
our newest patient!

This is Harry.
He's a hedgehog.

He likes to sleep
during the day

and eat at night.
His quills aren't sharp.

They feel like a hairbrush.
When he
gets nervous,
he rolls into a ball.

YOUR PET NEWS GOES HERE

Send us three sentences about your pet.
Be creative!
Today's sentences are from Lane Potts:

1.  My lizard's name is Pete.
2.  He sheds his skin twice a year.  My mom hates that about him, but I like it.
3.  He can smell by tasting the air.

See the picture I drew of Pete? He is very colorful!

Take a tour of the Danko Animal Clinic:

Thanks for stopping by!

This elephant is one of Grandma's patients.
(Just kidding. . .)

Grandma said to mention that Danko Animal Clinic
always welcomes new patients.

Bye for now!
                 Sadey
